The Regional Development Agency collaborates with the management body (MB) and Intermediary Bodies (IB) to co-manage the Just Transition Mechanism in Slovenia.

The planned activities include:

  • Participating in the planning of the implementation system of the just transition,

  • Collaborating with the MB (management body) on activities at the regional level to ensure partnership with young people, NGOs, social partners, the economy, representatives of local communities, institutes, and others,

  • Membership in the European Cohesion Policy 21–27 program oversight committee,

  • Collaborating with IB (intermediary bodies) in procedures to select operations,

  • Examining applications and issuing opinions on their compliance with the regional plan,

  • Monitoring the implementation of the regional plan: compiling implementation reports (quarterly, yearly, final), reporting to the MB,

  • Collaborating with the MB and IB in evaluating the implementation of the TJTP.
